Research Promotion Committee
The Research Promotion Committee (RP) supports ASHRAE research by communicating its value, raising funds, and coordinating chapter participation in annual campaigns. The committee engages local businesses, promotes Foundation and scholarship contributions, organizes goals and donor recognition, and works with regional leadership to advance Society-sponsored research.
What We Do
We raise the Idaho Chapter’s contribution to ASHRAE Research – the program funding the science behind our standards, from indoor air quality to energy efficiency and refrigerants.
- Run the chapter’s annual Research Promotion campaign
- Coordinate fundraising events like the golf tournament
- Recognize donors at meetings and in the Honor Roll
- Connect contributions to ASHRAE research, scholarships, and education
