In 2026 the chapter moved its website from StarChapter to a new idahoashrae.com built on WordPress and ChapterOps.

This page was compiled from the History Lesson column in The Hot Air Diffuser, the chapter newsletter, 2007–2019. Every issue is available on the Chapter Archive; past meetings since 2012 are on the Chapter Meeting Archives.

Tours took members to Micron, Swan Falls, Idaho Cold Storage, the Norco air separation plant, the Boise geothermal wells and St. Luke’s Meridian.

The annual golf tournament at Centennial Golf Course in Nampa appears in the record from 1992, and the first combined meeting with AIA was held in March 1999.
