Membership Promotion
The Membership Promotion Committee (MP) recruits new members, supports engagement across all industry sectors, encourages advancement to higher membership grades, and helps retain current members. The committee organizes membership drives, encourages joining at chapter meetings, ensures proper recognition, works to boost retention, coordinates with regional leadership, and collaborates with Student Activities and YEA to sustain long-term membership.
What We Do
We grow and keep the chapter’s membership – welcoming newcomers to the industry, promoting the value of ASHRAE membership, and making sure current members stay engaged and renewed.
- Recruit new members from across Idaho’s HVAC&R community
- Welcome and orient new members at chapter meetings
- Run membership drives and promote member benefits
- Follow up with members at renewal time
- Recognize membership milestones
