Mechanical professional engineer with experience in HVAC, plumbing and construction. Proven skills in communication, analysis, influencing, negotiation and project management. Customer service oriented, organized and calm under difficult situations. Able to learn new concepts quickly and apply them at work.

With over 18 years of extensive experience in mechanical engineering across both US and international projects, I am a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in California, Idaho, Ohio, Oregon and Wyoming, and a LEED Green Associate (GA). Currently, I serve as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Jacobs, a global leader in engineering and project delivery services.
My expertise encompasses Mechanical Systems design and construction administration for commercial and industrial buildings, building energy performance simulation, and district cooling/heating design. I have successfully led projects involving HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and master-plan utilities systems. I am dedicated to delivering sustainable and innovative solutions that exceed the expectations of our clients and stakeholders.

I am an Architectural Engineer specializing in HVAC design. I have a passion for Indoor Air Quality, High Performing Buildings, and Decarbonization in the AEC industry. I take pride in providing building owners and maintenance staff with HVAC systems and upgrades designed to fit their needs, while ensuring longevity of their equipment. Outside of work I stay active by camping, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and rafting. I personally experience and witness the changes in our ecosystem due to my participation in outdoor recreation, and care deeply about the impacts that human development has on our home planet

For over 20 years, I’ve been on a mission to make healthcare accessible, sustainable, and equitable for all.
I’m a nonprofit leader, advisor, and co-founder of MedCycle Network, with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit world. I’m passionate about expanding access to healthcare, especially for medically underserved communities, and finding innovative solutions to long-standing problems by bringing in new partners and tech.
When I’m not working on healthcare initiatives, I love to unwind by playing basketball, reading, and restoring my first car, a 1975 Camaro.

The most rewarding part of building science is the handoff — the point where a technology stops being a research finding and becomes something an engineer, contractor, or facility manager actually puts to work. I spent eleven years at the University of Idaho’s Integrated Design Lab doing exactly that: running energy audits, building demonstration systems, and training the region’s design and facilities community on emerging technologies like luminaire-level lighting controls. Now, as a Building Automation Specialist with the City of Boise, I get to live on the other side of that handoff, operating the control systems that keep public buildings performing. That’s also why I care about ASHRAE: the chapter is where research, design, and operations actually talk to each other, and I want to keep making those conversations happen.

I currently work as a Project Engineer at Parsons Corporation where I have the opportunity to work on large scale infrastructure project. My daily duties involve managing the schedule, budget and quality of a variety of projects with budgets ranging from $5-$10 million dollars. Coming from an engineering design background, I have been able to gain great insight on the full picture of the construction process.
