February Chapter Meetings

Tuesday, Feb. 12th

Location: North Wind Group at Taylor Crossing
1075 S. Utah Ave, Suite 200 Idaho Falls, ID 83402

Morning Technical Workshop Topic: Variable Refrigerant Flow: System Overview

This presentation covers the very basics of VRF – What is it? Why use it? When to use it? And maybe most importantly, when NOT to use it. The presentation will hit key highlights from VRF Chapter of the ASHRAE Handbook.  In addition, this presentation covers the most important design considerations for VRF systems.

Lunch Meeting Topic: Time Management for the Perpetually Busy Engineer

If you have a never-ending to-do list, an inbox that’s never empty, or a calendar that’s jammed with meetings…this session is for you. Most of us don’t prioritize our time well, and as a result we confuse urgent priorities with unimportant reminders or basic tasks.  This can lead to procrastination on the most important work we have on our plate. In this session, we’ll talk about various methods to manage your inbox, keep your to-do list organized, and be more productive.
